adding e to s words

I have a student who still tries to add e to s words. Stopping become estopping. How can I get her to change this habit?

Tell her to start with a whisper on the "S" and then "pop" the rest of the word. If she’s already hissing like a snake, there’s simply no room for that "E" to sneak in!

Let's charge her a "fine" (like a virtual dollar or a piece of candy) every time she "e-stops." The wallet is a great teacher. Hahaa

I think it’s just her brain trying to "cushion" the hard S sound. You can try the snake method: Have her hiss like a snake (Sssss) before saying the rest of the word. Ssssss... topping or Ssssss... peaking. It’s impossible to add an "E" if she’s already hissing!
