Results
The 7ESL Irregular Verbs Trainer drills the verb forms that English refuses to make regular. Each round gives you ten random verbs from the ~80 most common irregulars — see the base form, hear it, and type the past simple and past participle. Marking is instant and fair: all accepted alternatives count (got/gotten, shown/showed, was/were), and every miss shows the full correct answer immediately.
How to practise
Type both forms and press Check (Enter works too). At the end of the round you get a score and a review list of the verbs you missed — each with a ＋ Save button that adds the verb to your My Vocabulary deck, so your flashcard reviews automatically include the verbs that actually give you trouble. Rounds are random, so no two sessions repeat the same ten.
Why these verbs matter
The irregular verbs are a small club with enormous traffic: they include almost all of the most frequent verbs in English — be, have, do, go, get, make, say, take. Master roughly eighty of them and you cover practically every irregular form you will meet below C1. Ten a day for a week and the club has no secrets left.
