Hi! I am Miss Jezz. As a Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL) graduate, I am passionate about creating meaningful and engaging language learning experiences that empower learners to communicate with confidence. My academic journey has allowed me to explore language pedagogy, second language acquisition, sociolinguistics, and effective approaches to English language education.

During my teaching practicum at SMK (L) Bukit Bintang, Petaling Jaya, I developed a learner-centred teaching approach by designing interactive lessons that encouraged active participation and real-world communication. I incorporated activities such as role plays, collaborative tasks, and creative exercises to provide students with opportunities to practise English in meaningful contexts. Beyond textbooks, I developed my own teaching materials and utilised multimedia tools to enhance lesson delivery, cater to different learning styles, and create a more engaging classroom environment.

Beyond academics, I have taken on leadership roles at Universiti Malaya, including serving as a First-Year Facilitator (Pemudahcara Mahasiswa) and contributing to the Social Media and Marketing Bureau. These experiences strengthened my communication, teamwork, content creation, and student engagement skills, which continue to shape my approach as an educator.
