Ylu is “You’ll”, but spelled as if being pronounced very fast. Hence why it seems to be completely gibberish at first.

Origin of Ylu

Ylu first began to appear in the late 2010s with the rise of video content. Streamers, those that play games for others to watch, would often talk fast as they focused on both the game and their camera to answer viewer questions. Because of this heavy concentration, some words would be slurred. One such word was “You’ll”, being mispronounced as “Ylu”. Gradually ylu became popular enough to be repeated on purpose by other streamers or “vloggers“, those that record their blogs on film than writing them down. There is a notion that “ylu” originated from the African-American community but there is no documentation that this is the case.
